Since 1998 Trust members have worked to preserve land in the biologically and culturally rich Big Thicket of Texas. The Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit and a member of the Texas Land Trust Council and the Land Trust Alliance.

We achieve our mission through strategic land acquisitions that close boundary gaps and/or add buffers to the Big Thicket National Preserve. The Trust acts as a strong advocate against threats to the Preserve and other public lands and waters.
